For the electronics tinkerers and DIY builders out there, here's a 5-pack of LM2576HVS-ADJ voltage regulator ICs. These are \Simple Switcher\ step-down (buck) regulators from National Semiconductor (NS), in the TO-263 surface-mount package. The \ADJ\ means the output voltage is adjustable. They can handle up to 3 amps of current, which is pretty decent for powering small projects, motors, or LED strips from a higher voltage source. They're brand new, unbranded/generic components, but they should be functional replacements. No MPN or UPC applies. If you're repairing a power supply, building a custom battery charger, or need a reliable DC-DC converter for a project, having a few of these on hand is smart.
